Anti-Bullying Policy

Clubhouse has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, and abuse, including any behavior that prevents or inhibits constructive communication. Our anti-bullying policies and practices are outlined here to help guide users if they see or experience bullying on Clubhouse.

Users control their communication on Clubhouse.

Any user on Clubhouse can leave a class, turn off replies in a conversation, or block another user.

Report bullying communication or situations.

We encourage users to proactively report any bullying, harassment, or abuse that they see or experience on Clubhouse. Bullying can include malicious words, rumors, threats of violence, or exclusion from groups or activities; it can also include messages that might seem innocuous outside of relevant contexts.

Users who have been reported may receive a warning or be banned from sending messages on Clubhouse. In some cases, our team may decide to delete the account of a user who participates in bullying or other harmful behaviors.

Messages are permanently recorded.

Every message sent on Clubhouse is automatically recorded unless we’re required by law to delete the information. These records allow our team, in partnership with teachers and administrators, to identify when bullying, abuse, or harassment occurs on Clubhouse.

Messages can’t be edited or deleted after they’re sent. Users can always access a full history of the messages they’ve sent and received on Clubhouse, even if other users delete their accounts

Safety is a shared responsibility.

We ask everyone in the Clubhouse community to be aware of and take action against bullying. Although it’s impossible to monitor every space in a school community, working together helps keep communication focused on learning and engagement.

Seek help if you need it.
